Implementing the project

Over the course of the programme, 38 study grants have been awarded, as well as nine research and educational grants.  Furthermore, the Foundation has financed a number of RNTsRKhT’s publishing projects (including the publication in English of a handbook on positron emission tomography in accordance with IAEA requirements) and has provided assistance in establishing an integrated computer network for the Centre’s clinic and in developing an integrated web portal.

In 2011, the Foundation is focusing mainly on supporting young scientists (postgraduates and house officers from RNTsRKhT).  To date, funds have also been allocated to: running the Centre’s website; the publication of monographs and handbooks; modernising the Centre’s library; and holding conferences for young professionals.
