The competition is organized by The Elena and Gennady Timchenko Charitable Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
“The main aim of the competition is to support such initiatives which can get locals involved in the transformation of their home areas by creating an interesting and comfortable cultural environment. – says Maria Morozova, director of The Elena and Gennady Timchenko Charitable Foundation. Ц Through the involvement of fellow townsmen in the realization of the projects, initiative originators can create true Уcenters of attraction” for the socio-cultural activities in regional out-of-the-way locations. Talented, motivated people which are united by a common idea may achieve truly wonderful results as far as development and transformation of their towns and villages are concerned.Ф
