Rowing competition among students to be held at Krylatskoe
On October 4 – 8 Russian National Rowing Competition for Students will be held at the Krylatskoe Rowing Canal in Moscow. The fourth stage of the Student Rowing League will be organized within the framework of this Russian National Competition. 50 colleges from 18 Russian cities will send 32 eights to compete in the classical Olympic 2000-meter race. A team from Transnistria will participate in this event.

Children sledge hockey team established in Saratov
The official inauguration of the sledge hockey team Kryliya (Wings) was celebrated in Saratov on September 23. This is the ninth team on the map of the League. Snegiri (Snowbirds), a team from Moscow, and Avrora (Aurora), a team from St. Petersburg, came for a visit in order to provide support and encouragement to the newcomers. Among those present during the official ceremony were Aleksandr Abrosimov, the Saratov Region minister of youth policy and sports; Aleksandr Nizovtsev, chairman of the Saratov chapter of the Russian Society of the Disabled, member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation; Sergei Ulegin, two-time world champion in kayak and canoe rowing; and Sergei Rodionov, director of the ice sports center Kryliya, an autonomous non-profit organization.

Photo exhibition "We are Different  Hockey is Singular" opened in the Museum of Hockey located in Legends Park, Moscow

Tal Memorial at Museum of Russian Impressionism

The 11th International Tournament in memory of Mikhail Tal, the eighth world chess champion, will take place for a second time in a row at the Moscow Museum of Russian Impressionism – a major private museum in Russia.
