26 February is the start of the Timchenko Foundation’s internship programme for the winners of the Cultural Mosaic competitions
Starting 26 February, internship applications will be accepted from the winners of the Cultural Mosaic competitions under the Culture programme.
The purpose of the fact-finding trip programme is to give opportunity to study the best Russian and international practices to top Cultural Mosaic project teams. To intern in the field of your choice, you need to submit an application demonstrating that you need it to grow your project. To become a training provider and share the results of effective project activities, you need to qualify in a Best Local Practices competition. In both situations, the project teams are given an opportunity to find fellow enthusiasts, build long-term partner relationships, as well as review and assess the deliverables of their colleagues.
The 2019 programme includes group and individual internships. The participants in the group trip to the Republic of Tatarstan will learn the best practices in developing and implementing projects to develop public spaces in small communities. As part of individual internships, the teams will study expert review of project activities of organizations from the list of selected providers.
The internship programme of Elena and Gennady Timchenko Foundation has been in place since 2015. Over that time, 170 people have reviewed best practices, improved their professional skills and expertise and established and deepened their professional relationships.
