Children’s Sledge Hockey League with support from the Charitable Foundation of Elena and Gennady Timchenko will hold for the first time a conference called “Promotion of children’s disabled hockey in Russia”, to address the issues of physical rehabilitation and socialization of children with disabilities through team sports, with hockey used as a case study. The event will take place on 5-6 September in Moscow.

On 5 September there will be presented the experience and best practices of the regions that are implementing projects to set up hockey teams for children with various disabilities (sledge hockey for low-mobility people, parahockey for developmentally challenged people, hockey for the blind and visually impaired).
